Jeff Rodgers
Biography
Musician and audio engineer Jeff Rodgers has been performing and recording music for over twenty-five years. Originally a drummer and percussionist, he has performed as a member of the U.S. Marine Band of Parris Island, South Carolina and as a freelance musician. He has worked as a live sound engineer, recording engineer, and mastering engineer as well as a producer for a variety of artists including Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and, most recently, Americana artist Bill Mallonee.
Jeff operated his own recording company in northeast Ohio and also worked for seven years at Sweetwater Sound. While at Sweetwater, he worked as a sales engineer, consulting on and designing recording and audio solutions for more than 3,000 clients worldwide. He also worked as a technical support specialist for Sweetwater and assisted in the development of their Creation Station custom PC computers.
Currently, Jeff Rodgers is an Assistant Professor of Music Technology at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he serves as the Chair of the Music Department and Program Director of Music Technology. He holds a MS in Music Technology from Indiana University and a BA in Music from Kent State University. He is also a graduate of the Recording Workshop School of Audio and Production and the Armed Forces School of Music.
