Our vision

The Ananda Center strives to bring art experiences to Massillon and Stark County. We collaborate with area artists, community organizations and leaders to provide opportunities for the performing and visual arts to flourish in order to enrich the lives of our residents, nurture the creativity of our youth, support artist innovation and stimulate local commerce.

Get involved

Our goal is to engage our hometown community with the arts. We showcase local artists both performing and visual, as well as teach, learn and collaborate with what we know, and who we know. We have weekly classes and frequent workshops in many aspects of the arts. The Ananda Center also produces annual and other events that exemplify the local arts. Our hope is that our creative efforts encourage growth in our community. We believe the arts have a big part to play in personal, social and economic growth here in Massillon. We are working to stimulate collaboration among other existing arts organizations in the area to create a cultural center in downtown Massillon.
